> Understand the history of ki o rahi.
Ki o Rahi is a Maori traditional game. This game was brought up back in the 1870s. The game was about a lady that has been taken by their enemy, she was taken far away from her village, the abductors cast a spell forests causing the vegetation to become dense and impenetrable so that nobody would be tracking where TiAra has been taken. Rahi was determined to find TiAra, he had the help from his family and tribe he constructed a huge kiteMy goal for Ki o rahi is to try and communicate with others in my team and also encourage them to participate.
The level I'm working on is level (4) which is helping others and leadership. I chose these two level because I have interest in helping others when they're stuck on the rules of the game which is Ki o Rahi and also encouraging others to participate in the game. (L5) (Good citizen in the wider community) I'm at this level because of the iv'e volunteer to coach Yr 9&10 juniors as a volleyball coach and also rugby and ultra rip. I've been being a good role model to the juniors
How do I know I'm at this level is :
From my perspective, I've shown that I've been working with others during this activity. This game is really fun because of it an active sport.
The aspect I'm showing really well is participating fully in the game, but what I'm lacking on is bringing my gear. I don't find it hard to bring my gear, but I just don't want to get changed in the mornings.
How do I move to the next level?
I still need to show more of helping others and leadership in ki o Rahi, and also listening to my teammates (Social) is people around us and responsibility is taking care of things
